Brittany was born and raised in Southern California thought she's spent the last decade out of state. Luckily, she gets to come back to one of her favorite destinations, Southern Orange County. The place is beautiful at all times of the year. Lucky you!

FLIGHTS
The nearest airport is Orange County (SNA) though oftentimes you can find cheaper flights to Los Angeles (LAX) or San Diego (SAN), both of which are equidistant, or Long Beach on JetBlue (LGB). International flights are often booked to LAX.

LODGING
Some scenic spots to lodge would be San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, Newport Beach. Or talk to Brittany for other suggestions.
THE CEREMONY
The Newport Beach temple
We are getting married in the Newport Beach LDS temple. Temples to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (us!) are considered the House of the Lord and are therefore considered holy. It's a place where some of life's greatest questions are answered like "why are we here, where are we going." It's a place where we make covenants and promises with God. Getting married in the temple is called getting "sealed." With someone who holds the authority from God, we will be "sealed" for time and all eternity. It's the strongest bond that exists. We believe that marriage is central to God's plan here on earth and is ordained of God. For that reason we view marriage as the ultimate union and families as the basic structure of society. For more info about temples and marriage take a look at this talk by a former President of the Church, Gordon B. Hinckley called Why These Temples and the Proclamation of the Family.
This is the sealing room where we will be sealed.
